But the Alps are gone on Riders Republic, and Ubisoft has also gotten rid of the Steep moniker. Steep, released in 2016, was the first title for the southeastern France studio nestled in the Alps - the game's open world was initially restricted to Europe's highest mountain range too. Riders Republic is launching on October 28 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, as well as Windows PC through the Ubisoft Connect PC and the Epic Games Store.Riders Republic is Ubisoft Annecy's second stab at an extreme sports game. When I tried the beta last month, I found myself instantly addicted a large open world to explore, lots of variety, mucking around with my mates and taking part in 64 player mass races felt suitably epic, and the full game promises all of that action and more.
